Sam is the founder of Simplicity Financial Planning, and chose to set up her own Practice in 2020 in order to follow her passion of bringing straight forward, honest and easy to understand financial advice to those who need it.

Sam has been advising private individuals and businesses as a Financial Planner for over 20 years, and as a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, she holds the highest level of qualification available in the financial planning profession.

Sam’s approach to financial advice focuses on taking the time to understand how you want your future to look, and then creating a personalised plan to make it happen. She is passionate about making financial advice accessible with a truly human approach that puts you and your family at the heart of your financial plan.

Sam is also dedicated to deepening her knowledge to best serve her clients. She gained a masters in Finance in 2021 which focused on changing attitudes to retirement, and also became a Certified Money Coach to help her clients create a life where they can take control of their money.

Sam lives in a 400-year old cottage with her husband, two dogs (our Chief Happiness Officers), 5 chickens and 3 beehives! Therefore, it isn’t uncommon for our clients to leave a meeting with Sam armed with some fresh eggs or even a jar of honey if they are lucky.

Living in the beautiful village of Woughton on the Green, Sam is active in her local community through volunteering as a Scout Leader, participating in the Rotary Club of Milton Keynes, and ringing the village church bells on a Sunday.

As the Director of Simplicity, Sam is available to help you and your family through any element of your financial planning, as well as drawing on her wide network of professional connections to ensure that you get the best possible guidance for your future.
